PostSubject: How to properly Hate   Thu Sep 15, 2011 6:16 pm

Hate, in an ironic twist of fate, will produce love, if executed properly.

See, to truly hate, or even love someone, it requires you to truly know the person. Otherwise, how could you truly hate that which you do not know?

I see that most people need a lesson in true "hating"-- as Hating is an art that I have mastered. 99% percent of the hating I see going on is not true hating, it's ignorance.

When you "hate" on something that you don't know, you're being purely ignorant.

I reserve my judgment until I truly know something.

My process of "hating" involves a search for knowledge. The process leads me on a journey which culminates in understanding. When one understands, the hating subsides. Understanding resolves feelings of hate, and ironically the void left is love. A true process of hating will ironically produce love.

This is not some light-working mumbo jumbo enabling post.

This is elevating one's thinking to a higher level.

You know something, which is false. I know that you know this false thing. You, however, do not know that I know that you know. You don't even know that what you know is false. This places me on a higher level of understanding.

Once you accept that that which you know is false-- this is equivalent to step 1 in Alcoholics Anonymous, Denial. So, now you know that what you previously knew was false. Great.

Now that you know that I know that you know... okay, we're on the same playing field, finally.

And then now we are looking up together trying to find the same truth, from similar perspective, un-blinded by veils of opinion.

Hm ... but isn't it the process of understanding that resolves the hate rather than the hate itself; I wouldn't call hating a process of understanding cause most that do hate don't care to understand at all ... pointing out the ignorance in that doesn't change anything about the dynamic.

Not sure hating can be conducted in a proper and thus understanding way by just anybody; hate is an emotion that cannot be rationalized that easily imo. Nevertheless, good for you if you can do it.

Litmus tests and traps tend to backfire.

And they're REALLY fun to play in too. .

Thank you sir for articulating a truism.

Hate and love when it is emanated as an emotional response are the same. When these two constructs are understood they become like a "hour glass" challenging the mind to choose the relative and the absolute value of them both as they relate to human interaction as a capture of quintessential essence (the sand).

Meaning, how can you truely hate what you dont understand?

The fallible discernment of many illustrate an incapability of this. Hence, ignorance becomes the cognitive dominion for indivduals wanting to emotional "hate" what they dont understand. I would argue that understand "hate" emotional is a relative path that leads to absolute understanding. However, even a path of ignorance has its obstacles.

The individual must be willing to process ignorance and will indirectly remove the "utility" of hate. For an example humans fo rthe most part dont "hate" a bee for stinging them, or a fox for urinating on their grass. These behaviors are understood and the observation is not only forgiven but tolerated. Yet is would be reasonable for anyone to dislike their neighbor urinating on their grass or pinching them in the fat pad of their arm.

Love is love, and once this construct is understood, the master of such understanding can utilize assumed constructs of "hatred" as vehicles to facilitate understanding and the capacity of knowledge over ones self imposed ignorance.

In contrast, how can one truely love what they dont understand?
This is when it gets interesting. If one loves, he thereby captures the absolute, relative, and negotiable construct of human action. This becomes a congnitive nullifier in the same way as ignorance with the exception that love brings together to synchronize or communion for a common good, while hate does just the opposite.

"Good and Bad" though value systems promote outcomes. The ultimate measure is which one captures peace, harmony, and providence to the point were the pragmatic solution is a principle of life.

In certain relationships, I think a season of hate is necessary. In order NOT to hate, to choose to love.

I can hate, but I have a hard time holding onto it, given I ever even find it.

I think experiencing hate has really helped me learn how to love. There are certain things I had to go through, both as the aggressor and the victim, in order to reach newer heights. I'm still not where I need to be, but somewhere is better than nothing lol.

I agree.

I've never hated anyone before, though I've speculated what I would do if I hated someone in the traditional sense of hate.

For example, if someone was on fire, the individual that hates that person wouldn't put out the fire and instead let the person burn to death. Supposedly that is hate, but I don't think it is hate.

If I hated someone, and the individual I hated was on fire, I would put out the fire. The reason I would put out the fire is because I wouldn't want the person to die, but to suffer from the horrible dis-figuration and so I could make their life a living hell. If the individual dies, then I can't hate them anymore.

Geeez Luise ... I'm glad you don't hate anybody and I hope if you ever do that they don't catch on fire lol.

I can hate on people, but it's a temporary thing that fades.

to hate properly you need to make someone feel like they are simply meaningless.
it matters little how you actually feel, it's their experience of it that is the true hate.
you can always rationalise hate-- they won't be able to.
the devil is in the details remember?
