.........At least it is something that doesn't die on me.
Recently I rescued eleven baby turtles and all of them are doing just fine. I can't say the same for Birdo and for the bees that I rescued this past weekend. Yep, I was messing with bees this weekend. A friend came over to help me remove a wild hive from a metal container, before the container is returned. My friend is a bee keeper and she came with all that astronaut stuff to protect herself from the bees. She asked me: Do you have pants?
-No
Do you have a sleeved shirt?
-No
Do you have shoes?
-Nope.
Fortunately, another bee keeper came to help and he was well protected.
I actually did not understand, because I was helping them box the bees and they did not bother me a bit. I know that I occasionally stink, but I found that strange. It was also strange that we found no honey in the hive.
Anyway, we got most of them in the new hive and everything appeared to be fine. Unfortunately, yesterday I noticed very little movement around the hive. I opened it and noticed that many bees were dead. Today, my friend came over and after inspecting the hive we noticed an infestation of beetle and moth larvae destroying everything. Normally the bees would keep those in check, but we think that the hive was already struggling before we moved (no honey and not aggressive bees...they were weak). The move only added more stress to the bees and that was the end of it.
Anyway, she promised my a split of one of her hives and I have a feeling that I know where that would be coming from. Yesterday we went to check her bees and she got her ass shewed....32 stings. I only got one in my hand, hehe.

I once went to a trade show wearing a suit and people were laughing and taking pictures of me.
I wear shorts all the time, no underwear, flip-flops or nothing, and old T-shirts....simple and comfortable.
During the colder days of the winter, I look like the "Michelin Man". I hate the cold.

I normally deal with a lot of shit everyday, the last thing I need is to have my huevos squished by underwear.
