One of the things I love about the internet is the fact that you can find a lot of useful things too, besides the crap. You just have to know where to look and have a little bit of intelligence to differentiate the good things from the bullshit. I found this video extremely interesting. I love to fish and anyone who has one of those baitcaster reels have a "birdnest" problem once a while. It is actually an infuriating problem because you cannot do anything until you untangle the mess. I got it so bad a few times that I had to cut off most of my line. One day I bumped into this video....I cannot explain how it works, but it does. (even without spitting). I had several birdnests after that and the technique works just fine.
