I think the Supreme Court pussied out on this one... I am thoroughly disgusted at the way they weaseled their way out of actually making a decision.

I never got this Supreme Court thing, but I imagine that these are supposed to be a group of judges deciding about the constitutionality of issues outside of party lines, unfortunately the US constitution reminds me of the Bible and the different interpretations depending of which religion people follow.
I do think that it is important to invest in order to reduce the social gaps... i would not want to live in a place where people  would kill you for food, therefore spending some extra money helping minorities to develop in order to compete makes perfect sense. What makes no sense is to give a job to a less qualified person because of their sex or race.

Hey do porn addicts and bwain damaged qualify as a helpless minority ? I'm a victim of society you know, so can i have some easy bucks and a decent job even if i don't qualify for it, leaving a qualified person unemployed ?
