| Edmonton, AB has some truly AWESOME thunderstorms as witnessed from my old back deck: No digital alteration whatsoever on this image, just a giant bolt. | |

| Neat!! ... I tried to capture the lightning storm I saw last night but the camera on my phone was too slow and insufficient to handle it. | |

| Maybe you should visit Texas; last night I thought the world would come to an end lol ... that was a fierce storm all around. Hawaii had lots of rain all year, but thunder/lightning storms were rare and rather meek. | |

Maybe yall should come to Flurda. http://www.weather.com/news/weather-severe/top-5-lightning-prone-states-20120509A couple of years ago we had the craziest storm...cloud to cloud lightening obscured by the lower clouds, the sky was flickering like there was a strobe light above the clouds. The thunder was a continuous roar, like if one of those "Independence Day" giant spacecrafts with a muffler problem was parked above the clouds ready to pulverize the city. Scary shit.

| I don't miss FL weather at all. I'd take snow over that heat any day. | |

snow makes nice post cards and I imagine that's about it. Heavy snow can disrupt a lot of stuff. My brain slows down to human levels when the temperature goes bellow 50F and I'm pretty much dead below 32F. Freezing temperatures are to keep fish inside of the freezer.
